Odin loves Mummers. Being from the other end of Pennsylvania myself, I don't quite get mummers, but Odin squeals with delight every time he sees a parade of men in ostrich plumes marching through the city of brotherly love. In fact, even though this would make an ideal New Year's entry, Odin got so excited by the group Odin's Golden Slippers that he insisted we post it now. |

With all the Odins on the web, have you ever wondered who snagged the coveted odin.com domain? Wonder no more. Much to the chagrin of Pagans of America, the winner is Odin Anti-icing System, the leader in anti-icing technology innovation. With a name like Odin, they gotta be good. And the proof is in the web cam. Note that their parking lot in Georgia is absolutely ice-free. |

| Odin in space! Did you know that Odin has a satellite named after him? The Swedish space program's Odin Satellite (yes, Virginia, there is a Swedish space program) is on a peaceful mission. At least, I'm assuming that a collaboration among Sweden, Finland, France, and Canada is peaceful. This satellite of love is also described as a "small, low-cost" model. Fitting, eh? | |

Yes, Virginia, there was a real Odin. And he was a Cossack. It must be true, because the BBC says so. Or maybe they simply reported on Thor Heyerdahl's latest quest because they couldn't resist using the headline, "Thor Searches for Odin." |
