Once
upon a time in a land far far away, there was a little pink dog called Frankenella.
|
He
lived with his two ugly step-dogs Boris... |
and
Bela. |
| Boris and Bela picked on Frankenella because he was different. He didn't like to bark, or chase his tail, or eat pigs ears, or sniff people where they didn't want to be sniffed. |

| Frankenella was much happier lying in the sun, purring, and grooming his fur. But when he did these things, Boris and Bela made fun of him. Frankenella was very unhappy. |
|
"Oh, what is wrong with me?" he lamented. "Why am I not like other dogs? Why can't the world just let me eat fish in peace?"
|
|
Just then, a beautiful fairy appeared. "Don't worry, Frankenella," the fairy said. "I am your fairy godcat, Ziggy. I can help you find your inner cat and be truly happy." |
| Then, with a wave of his magic
wand, Ziggy made Frankenella a beautiful ball gown.
And he took five ratty old mice and turned them into glittery mice dressed in some very glam animal prints. Then, Ziggy waved his wand again and *POOF*
|
|
...there suddenly appeared a magical party bus. The mice leapt on the party bus like little coachmen in leopard-skin livery. Ziggy the fairy godcat led Frankenella into the back of the party bus. "Where am I going?" Frankenella asked, worried as usual. "You'll see," nodded Ziggy sagely as he waved good-bye. |
But
sure enough, when he looked out on the dance floor, he saw another dog from
the neighborhood, Swanky Ken, slow-dancing with a gingercat. He watched
with a thrill of excitement as the gingercat dipped Swanky Ken. |
And
there was Big Yellow Bob, enjoying himself with a sleek black cat. (Frankenella
was embarrassed to see, however, that Bob apparently got his gown from the
very same fairy godcat.) |
|
"This truly is a marvelous place," whispered Frankenella to himself.
And then, across the floor, his eyes caught those of a handsome young Scandinavian prince. Wonder of wonders! The Prince came over and asked Frankenella to dance with him!
|
|
They danced and danced, and when when they got tired they sat and talked.
It was a wonderful evening. Frankenella could meow and purr and cuddle to his heart's content. |
|
Oh yeah,
And they lived happily ever after.
The end. |
