Odin's DVD

Odin's Aunt and Uncle bought him a DVD for Christmas. It's one of those videos of birds and mice, filmed by holding a camcorder up to cages at a pet store. Very low budget, straight to video. Production values are somewhere along the lines of From Justin to Kelly.

Now, as you might expect, Odin is a bit of a film snob. His tastes run more towards foreign films and art house movies (though I did once catch him guffawing at Dirty Rotten Scoundrels one Saturday afternoon), I assumed he would turn that pretty little pink nose up in feline disdain at Cat Sitter: The Movie.

But I popped the DVD in anyway and waited.

For about a quarter of a second.

Odin leaped down (with none of his usual dignity) and plopped himself in front of the tv.

And sat.

And sat. (Odin does have a bit of an addictive personality, if you remember.)

He could barely contain himself.

He moved in for closer inspection.

And investigation.

Then, being Odin, he settled in on the lace pillow to watch in comfort.

And to watch some more.

I stopped taking pictures when he sent me to get him a beer and some nachos.

So if you're looking to fill out your cat's DVD collection, Odin gives two dewclaws up to "CatSitter."
